Oh Christmas Tree

I love art done with my kiddo's handprints! It's such a special thing to preserve.

I found this canvas on clearance at Hobby Lobby one day for $2! I grabbed it, thinking I'd paint some masterpiece someday on it.

Just kidding!

I stink at art.

I saw a handprint Christmas tree somewhere on a blog, and thought it would be fun to do. Because I only had one, I made each layer with a different child's hands:


The bottom layer is Adam, the middle is Grace, and the top is Josh.

I painted the star and trunk.

I probably should have lied just then and said that Adam painted those, but since Adam can probably do way better than that, I didn't want to insult him.

My sad art skills aside, I LOVE it! It just makes me smile. I love being able to have their sweet handprints forever!
