Easter Eggs: Better Late Than Never

Back in April, I bought two egg dyeing kits.

And life was so very busy that we never had time to use them.

I promised Sam that we would dye eggs, and I kept the egg dyeing kits on my dresser as a reminder.

Not that I needed them, though, because that sweet kid bugged me almost every day about it.

So... back on June 26th, we finally got around to dyeing eggs, and man alive, we had fun doing it.

I think traditions are SO important in a family, and they aren't always going to work out perfectly.

Life gets in the way, unfortunately.

But, the most important thing I've realized is that doing them consistently and having fun and growing closer as a family is way more important than perfection.
