For several days now, Grace has taken her markers and covered her hands completely in color. Luckily I've caught her each time before she touched anything. Each time I've said, "Go wash your hands." And she cheers as she runs for the bathroom.
Today I finally asked her why she was doing it when she knows she can only color on paper.
She told me, "I'm just coloring the water, Mommy."
And then she showed me.
When she washes her hands, the sink fills up with colored bubbles and water.
It does look pretty cool.
I am glad that she keeps it to her hands only. Don't want another one of these incidents:
