Josh the Toddler

This boy is the sweetest thing. Always giving me hugs and kisses. Loves helping clean.

His smile just melts me.

He is a total doll and has me completely wrapped around his little finger.

Which is a good thing.

Because he is also a toddler terror.

Times two.

He has always been a climber. I pull him off the table, counter, freezer probably 30 times a day.

What you can't see here, is that he climbed up to the counter to get the brownie bowl without the use of a chair. He just scaled up the cupboards.

Recently, though, he has figured out how to climb the bunkbeads.

So we removed the ladder.

He figured out how to climb up without the ladder.

I promise Mike was just to the left to catch him, when we walked in the room and found him like this, while I took the picture.

We installed child-proof locks on the kitchen cupboards, thinking that would keep him from chemicals and glass dishes.

He knows how to unlock those, too.

He loves to open the closet door, take out all of my carefully labelled toy boxes...

... and can dump them all in about 5 minutes.

I found him like this after I had put him to bed (in his crib) one night.

He loves to scribble on the walls, tear papers, dump out bags, rip books, and break DVDs in half.

In short, he is driving me crazy.

So.

It's a good thing he is the sweetest toddler I've ever had.

Because he is also the craziest.

Wow! That is one crazy boy! Seth is a climber too! Last night I found him hanging from the oven door, which off course was preheating to 425 degrees! Good luck with that little cutie of yours!
