Adam's birthday is next week and school lets out this Friday.
All year long, he has looked forward to bringing treats for his birthday for his class, like his friends had been doing. And then I realized when school got out.
He was pretty bummed about it. And then I decided that who cares if it's not on his birthday? He could bring the treats a week early.
So he did.
He was a very happy boy.
(Though you can't tell it from the picture... I didn't give him any warning and just snapped it).
Let the 6-year-old birthday celebrating begin!
